When a client identifies you as a potential consultant for one of their projects, they can ask you for a proposal. Using our messaging feature, you can ask questions about the project before you build a proposal to make sure you fully understand what it is they’re looking for. When building a proposal, you generate milestones with specific deliver dates and dollar amounts aligning with points along the life cycle of the project. Once you complete a milestone, and the client accepts delivery, you will be paid for the corresponding dollar amount on a bi-weekly basis.
When a client creates a project, they should notify consultants within the project detail that there is the requirement of additional paperwork. It is up to the consultant to manage this part of the process independent from SafeShare and is considered separate from SafeShares Terms and Conditions.
Yes. You’re able to modify your hourly rate at any time by editing going to settings – edit profile – hourly rate. You are not bound to use your indicated rate when submitting a proposal to a client, but it should provide a general guideline when possible.
